Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), established by the Government of Haryana in 2016, is India’s first Skill University dedicated to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Rooted in India’s rich tradition of skill-based education exemplified by ancient institutions like Takshila and Nalanda, SVSU focuses on developing future-ready, employable talent.
Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) aims to be a premier institution in skill education by bridging academic learning with practical, industry-oriented training. SVSU integrates apprenticeship and On-the-Job Training (OJT) with vocational education, supported by state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence (CoE) through its Industry Integrated Dual Education Model (IIDEM).
The Centre of Excellence focus on developing innovative, industry-ready professionals through handson training and applied learning, aligning academic outcomes with industry needs and contributing to technological advancement and economic growth.
Advanced CNC Machining Laboratory at the COE provides industry-oriented training and offers hands-on learning in CNC operations, programming, and tooling. Live projects ensure students gain real-world experience and industry-ready skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Welding Laboratory at the COE is equipped with state-of-the-art ESAB welding technologies and provides hands-on training in modern welding processes, safety practices, and material handling, preparing students for industry-ready careers and entrepreneurial opportunities across automotive, aerospace, and construction sectors.
Advanced Mechatronics Laboratory at the COE features industry-leading FESTO and SMC technologies, offering hands-on training in pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, Modular Production Systems, and Industry 4.0-enabled smart manufacturing. Lab equips students with practical skills in automation and integrated control systems, preparing them for industry-ready.
Advanced Electrical Laboratory at the COE provides hands-on training in advanced electrical and green technologies. Students gain practical skills in power converters, PWM control, energy efficiency, EV drive systems and advanced energy auditing. Students develop careers in electrical and renewable energy sectors, roles such as Motor Control Technician, EV Maintenance Engineer and Energy Auditor
Advanced Solar Laboratory at the COE provides hands-on training in photovoltaic and solar thermal technologies, energy storage, and concentrating solar power systems. Students gain practical skills in system design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, preparing them for careers in solar power,energy auditing,and sustainable building design.
Daikin establish the Centre of Excellence with their latest technologies of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration to provide industry-aligned,hands-on training in advanced HVAC technologies which helps in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. CoE is to promote industry– academia collaboration for skill development, internships, certification, and exposure to realworld industrial practices.
