This laboratory equips students with hands-on experience in operating advanced testing equipment, analyzing soil composition, nutrient levels, and water quality, and promoting optimal crop yields and sustainable farming practices.
The laboratory offers the following soil testing services pH Level Testing to Measures soil acidity/alkalinity, essential for determining nutrient availability, Nutrient Analysis for Assessing the levels of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) to optimize fertilizer application, Moisture Content Analysis to Measures the amount of water present in the soil, crucial for irrigation management and Soil Texture Analysis for determine the proportion of sand, silt, and clay, influencing soil structure and fertility.
The laboratory provides the following water testing services like Electrical Conductivity (EC) Measurement for accessing the concentration of ions, affecting plant growth, Turbidity Testing for Evaluating the water clarity, essential for human consumption and agricultural use, Chemical Contaminant Analysis for detecting the levels of nitrates, phosphates, and heavy metals, ensuring water safety and Biological Contaminant Analysis which identifies bacteria and other microorganisms, safeguarding human and animal health.
